General

The JRX218S is a compact 18-inch passive subwoofer from JBL's affordable JRX 200 series. This sub is the perfect mate for JBL's JRX212 and JRX215 speakers, thanks to its 350 watts RMS power and a frequency response of 35 - 250 Hz for a deep bass that you can hear and feel. This subwoofer has a rugged housing and sturdy metal handles.

18-inch woofer

Despite its small size and light weight, the compact JRX218S subwoofer produces a beautiful, deep and warm bass thanks to the M118-4 driver with a steel frame, 18-inch diameter and 3-inch voice coil. For this woofer, an amplifier with a power between 350 and 700 watts at 4 ohms is recommended.

Robust housing

The woofer's housing is made of MDF panels that are 19mm thick and joined to be able to handle the hardships of a life on the road. Moreover, the rugged housing also counters unwanted resonance, to ensure tight bass tones.

Absolutely crazy bass once connected to a suitable amp with an equalizer, have 2 of these and they make my entire house shake

This is one absolutely capable sub-woofer, you will NOT be disappointed at all. With the right power-amp this 'mini beast' (just 1) can rock ANY hall or house party! It is simply awesome. To me when it come to BASS it don't have to play LOUD, but with a 'George Foreman' chest crunching punch and a rumble that sounds like a NASA 'Rocket Launch'. Just get one!

vroeger een Trace Elliot setje gehad met een 1x 18"+ 1x10" en topkastje 2x10"+ 2x5". Destijds de Rolls Royce onder de basversterkers
nu is het de JBL JRX218S met als topkast een Bugera 2x10 + tweeter.
ik moet zeggen dat die JBL kast wel erg stak, zwaar en powerful klinkt.
ik durf mn setje niet harder te zetten dan een 1 tiende streep. bang dat mn woning in elkaar stort.
maw het geluid van de JBL overtrof toch wel een beetje mijn verwachting.
