DAP M12 Active Floor Monitor

DAP M12: Built-In Amplification

For the amplification of this monitor you won't need a separate amplifier module. A modern Class-D amplifier produces a total power of 415 Watts. This monitor's woofer measures 12 inches and produces 350 Watts. It easily reproduces lower frequencies - the M12's lower limit is 65 Hz. The high tones are provided by a 1-inch neodymium compression driver, which receives 65 Watts. This Class-D amplifier is highly efficient in its power consumption. Besides a crystal-clear sound, it emits limited heat.

Connectors

The M12 is powered via the well-known lockable blue connector. An audio input in the shape of a combined XLR/jack connector can also be found. Daisy-chaining is made possible via the XLR link out and the white lockable AC link. Besides the rotary volume knob, two switches have been provided: one for the setting of the EQ preset: monitor or FOH. FOH can be used when the M12 is mounted on a speaker stand in an upright position. The other switch controls the ground lift.
