If you're looking for an affordable monitor with good sound quality, then a Behringer floor monitor might be right up your alley. Take, for instance, the VS1220F. This passive floor monitor has a maximum power capacity of 150 watts, and a 600W peak, making it excellent in combination with a 300W amplifier, for example. It also has a broad frequency range of 55 Hz to 20 kHz. A nice 12-inch woofer is responsible for reproducing all the bass tones, and trebles are taken care of by an electro-dynamic driver.
Rugged construction
The strong construction of the VS1220F features a sleek finish and built-in handles. Rubber feet on the bottom ensure that the speaker won't be going anywhere on stage, and that it won't be damaged underneath. Furthermore, a rugged metal grille on the front provides protection for the woofer and the tweeter, and you'll find a connection panel with two 6.35mm jacks mounted on the right side. The sleek design, robust construction and excellent sound quality of the VS1220F all come together to offer a good, complete passive floor monitor.

Ik gebruik de monitoren i.c.m. een Behringer INUKE1000 versterker en dat gaat hartstikke prima. Extra eq eigenlijk niet nodig, mooie verdeling tussen hoog en laag. Zeker ook geschikt om gewoon tijdens een feestje ergens op de grond te plaatsen.
In eerste instantie kocht ik een B stock. Niet zo heel fraai, bij levering was de woofer kapot. Geretourneerd voor reparatie, vervolgens werd een paar dage later een nieuwe speaker en voor teerug geleverd. In dit geval dus super opgelost door BAX.
