The AEG body of this Ibanez AEG24II-THS electro-acoustic steel-string guitar is somewhat slimmer than that of other guitars in the series. That doesn't imply a lesser sound, though! This guitar, with cutaway, also produces a bright, tight and deep sound. Moreover, because it has a Thinner AEG body, it feels comfortable and light, and is very easy to play. With this AEG24II-THS, Ibanez's guitar builders manage again to deliver a high-quality instrument at an affordable price.
Ibanez AEG24II-THS: Flamed Maple top
The top of the AEG24II-THS is made of flamed maple that, in combination with the mahogany sides and back, provides this steel-string guitar with a warm, deep and direct sound. The mahogany neck has a rosewood fretboard and the bridge is made of this dark wood type as well. The AEG24II-THS red sunburst guitar with high-gloss finish is fitted with gold-coloured, die-cast tuners, a pearloid rosette, Ibanez Vintage bridge pins and comes with D'Addario EXP strings.
Pickup and preamplifier
Whether you're playing the AEG24II-THS at the studio or on stage, with the Fishman Sonicore pickup and the Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp, you'll always hear that authentic, acoustic sound you want! The preamp has a 2-band equalizer (bass, treble), a phase switch for the reduction of feedback, volume control and a built-in tuner.
