The Chau Tam Tams from Meinl Sonic Energy are hand-crafted in China according to age-old traditions. These Tam Tams have a versatile character and can deliver any sound from low, humming and threatening to large, powerful and explosive. While they're great for sound therapy sessions, you can also use them to create soundscapes or for orchestral music. Simply attach a cord to hold it, or suspend it from a stand (sold separately). This model measures 22 inches in diameter and comes including a beater that's been specially-developed to match the size of the Tam Tam, as well as a practical cover.
