The Meinl Chau Tam Tams are handmade using the same methods and traditions they used centuries ago. The combination of the special bronze alloy and the curved rim make it a hugely versatile instrument, allowing you to play low humming tones to explosive crashes. The gong comes with a mallet to match its size, and a sleeve to store the instrument. The yin & yang sign stands for harmony and balance, it is described as 2 opposites that do not conflict but complement each other. This is reflected in the gong by its versatility in complementing other instruments.
