Made by hand in China using traditional methods, the Meinl WGFOL16 16-inch wind gong combines a special bronze alloy with a practically all-flat playing surface, resulting in a massive tonal spectrum and extremely long sustain. Gentle strikes alone result in profound sound, while more forceful playing allows the gong to open up and produce an explosion of wave-like harmonics.
