General

Made of a special bronze alloy, the Sela SEGO36WIL Wind Gong Lotus 36-inch is perfect for accompanying meditation or yoga sessions. Depending on how hard and in which place you strike it, it can produce different tones with varying frequencies, and these long, penetrating sounds have a calming effect. This gong was handmade in China, from a special copper alloy that has been twisted and worked in various ways. The rim is flat - and therefore not bent backwards - which makes for a sharp and clear sound with lots of overtones and a wide frequency range. With harder hits, you can even create white noise, perfect for drowning out other (distracting) sounds. This gong comes with a carrying case and a wooden mallet with a plastic head covered in velvet.

Sela SEGO36WIL Wind Gong Lotus 36 inch

This is a stunning looking wind gong with the deep resonant tones I was hoping for. Can be played sensitively to enable an evocative soundscape to develop, or of course more rigorously for the crash you’d expect from a large wind gong. Arrived within a day or two of ordering. I am thrilled with the service I got from Bax and with the gong itself. It comes with a non padded carrying case and with strong cotton hanging chord attached . The weight is around 13.5kgs . I consider this to be fab addition to my sound bath instrument collection .
