General

Sennheiser's MZH 3042L is a metal gooseneck for the ME34, ME35 and ME36 microphone capsules by Sennheiser. It is 40 cm long and is equipped with two flexible parts and a built-in LED ring. This LED ring lights up when you activate the microphone. At the bottom you will find a 5-pin XLR plug with a built-in preamp. The microphone is powered by sending 12 to 48 Volts of phantom power over three pins of the connector. The other two pins are used to power the LED ring.
