The NINO555 is a wooden guiro made especially for the smallest amongst us. Nino Percussion is one of the leading manufacturers of percussion instruments for kids. With the NINO555, Nino Percussion offers a compact guiro especially for budding percussionists. This small instrument has a large number of grooves, and by scraping along those grooves with the included scraper, you produce the distinct guiro sound. The instrument is most often used in Latin-American music, though many percussionists now use it to embellish their playing. This particular guiro is made of rubberwood and is suited for children ages 5 and up.
