With the extensive AMP X, Thomas Blug presents the next step in thehisir pedal-based Nanotube amplifier head revolution. This model comes backed up by innovative Neural Analog Amp technology which is able to expertly mimic the sound of pretty much every legendary amp in the known guitar-verse. Tweaking this pedal is essentially like rewiring the innards of your guitar amp to shape the guitar sound that you want and, thanks to the Nanotube power amp section, 100 Watts of output can be sent to a compatible 8 or 16 Ohm speaker cabinet.

The BluGuitar AMP X: Four Preamps in One

Your tonal quest starts when you select one of the basic preamp types on board: Clean, Vintage, Classic or Modern. From there, the three-band EQ section supplies in-depth tone shaping tools and everything can be polished off via the Gain and Volume pots. Want a more airy sound? Simply open up the presence pot to up the flavour and, via the Master Volume pot, easily adjust the level sent out to a connected speaker cabinet. To support recording, the AMP X also supplies a jack line output plus two TRS/XLR combo outputs.
