General
In the tight throwback form of the Supro 1695TH Black Magick Head, classic rock devotees with find the stuff that dreams are made of. A direct remake of a stone cold slice of music history, this valve amplifier has been based on Jimmy Page’s own 1959 Supro combo - the one he played on Led Zeppelin I. So, you're getting a Class-A amplifier that delivers 25 Watts of power and more gain than any other Supro model, alongside the clearly present mid-range and natural dynamic response of a set of 6973 power amp valves.
The Supro 1695TH Black Magick Head: Thick Sound!
One of the more unique features of the Supro Black Magick Head is the pair of fully independent preamp channels, complete with a linked 1+2 input. Jack in and enjoy immediately thick and juicy tone, or plug into the standard single-preamp input to thin out the sound a touch. From there, extra period-correct atmosphere can be added to the output by engaging the built-in valve-driven tremolo and, since everything comes housed in a solid polar wood cabinet, coated in Black Rhino Hide Tolex and complete with a Dog Bone handle, you're looking at a solid and faithful rock n' roll machine.
