Perfect boek om je de muziektheorie voor (jazz)gitaar stap voor stap eigen te maken. Sommige concepten zijn lastig te bevatten maar dat wordt goed uitgelegd.Oefening baart kunst: dit boek bevat veel oefeningen en voorbeelden. Je moet daarvoor wel een cd-speler hebben. Een goede basis voor iedereen die zijn/haar muziektheorie verder wil brengen dan de pentatonic blues scale.

Het is een goed boek dat goed uitleg geeft over hoe je gitaar kan leren spelen.
Het is geen makkelijke boek maar als je langzaam opbouwt kan je het als beginner goed leren.
Het is alleen wel in het Engels en sommige onderwerpen worden niet op de details uitgelegd. Waardoor je soms niet helemaal begrijpt wat je met iets kan.
Mijn advies: Neem dit boek bestudeer het, en neem daarna gitaar lessen. Zo heb je al wat ervaring en kan je alleen maar doorgroeien.
