By adding extra mass under the tremolo arm, you benefit from more sustain and richer resonance, especially in the midrange. It makes notes last just a bit longer and sound tighter. The FROFTBL42 is suitable as a replacement or upgrade part for Floyd Rose Original, 1000 Series and Special Series tremolo systems (6- and 7-string where applicable).
