General
The Truetone CYR (formerly Visual Sound CYR) Reverse Polarity Converter is an adapter cable that reverses a power supply's polarity. This allows you to connect a centre-positive device to a centre-negative power supply, for instance, or vice versa.
Truetone CYR: Applications
The CYR is particularly handy for connecting a centre-negative power supply to Yamaha keyboards, samplers and drum machines. However, it can also come in handy in powering centre-positive effects pedals. The cable is fitted with standard 2.1mm barrel connectors.
Tips or comments about this product- In general, the polarity of a device is clearly indicated using a special symbol. If the centre dot is connected to the plus sign, you're dealing with a centre-positive device, if it's connected to the minus sign, you're dealing with a centre-negative device.

Uitstekend product. Doet precies wat ie moet doen. Voor mij een goede oplossing voor mijn SmoothHound wireless systeem wat omgekeerde polariteit heeft. Dankzij dit verloopje kan ik gewoon de stroom gebruiken van mijn pedalboard voeding.

Hyper déçu
il ne fonctionne pas sur ma Fulltone octafuzz
et en plus il bloque l'alimentation de tout mon pedalboard

Petit raccord ultra pratique pour alimenter fuzz germanium à polarité inversée avec une alim std. (MXR DC Brick). Fonctionne parfaitement et de manière sécurisée.
