TrueTone's CBAT (previously known as the Visual Sound CBAT) Battery Clip Converter is ideal for anyone who has an effects pedal that runs on 9V batteries only. Simply click the cable into the battery compartment of your effects pedal and you can power it via any 9V power adapter with a 2.1mm barrel connector instead. TrueTone's 1 Spot Adapter is an ideal partner for the CBAT.
Tips or comments about this product- The CBAT is also part of the 1 Spot Adapter combo pack.
- In 2015, Visual Sound changed its name to Truetone. Your product may still carry the name Visual Sound, however.

Als je ziet wat een 9 V batterijtje kost, dan is de conclusie vlug getrokken. Kopen, werkt perfect. En ... iedereen heeft ergens wel een 9 v adapter op elektrische stroom liggen.

Jep. Heb een oud DOD-pedaaltje met afwijkende adapterplug (wel 9V) en allicht een 9V-batterijaansluiting. Dus voor deze oplossing gekozen. Werkt prima! Ziet er wel een beetje punky uit zo, maar het gaat dan ook om een Punkifier. Klinkt super beroerd dat pedaaltje maar dat schijnt de bedoeling te zijn, en dat ligt al helemaal niet aan de battery clip converter.

Wie komt dat niet eens tegen? Een pedaal (zoals de Boss FS-6), dat uitsluitend werkt op een 9V blok-batterij en door het ontbreken van een aan/uit schakelaar, die batterij rap leeg trekt, zolang er een jack kabel is ingeplugd. Niet zo handig tijdens een gig, als je na de sound check de jack er nog in hebt gelaten... Deze clip converter is dan een uiterst simpele en effectieve oplossing. Clip in het batterijvak aansluiten en aan de andere gewoon een 9V adapter op de netspanning aansluiten. Life saver!
