General
Timber Tones comprised this pick set to dramatically shorten the quest for the perfect pick. It consists of four guitar picks made of different wood types with different sounds. Their design is based on the standard (Fender) 351 plectrums, and their gauge is 2.4 mm with a tip that's been sanded down to 0.7 mm. All four picks have their own specific sound. The wood types used are: Mimosa, almond, Burma Padauk and Thai rosewood. Their tone ranges from mild and rounded to clear with a fierce attack.
The importance of picks
When looking for culprits for a criminally good sound, the pick is often omitted from the list of usual suspects. Don't be fooled though, as this small tool is a veritable mastermind where it comes to tonal influence. A pick's gauge, shape and material are all accomplices in the overall sound it produces. Mooi setje plectra. Ook leuk voor het oog, met een mooie, houten gitaar.
Door dikte niet buigbaar, maar speelt toch verrassend lekker!
Nerven zijn in het echt iets minder exotisch (veelal recht) dan op plaatje en ook zijn ze iets minder glanzend gepolijst.

Mooie plectra die door de dikte wat mij betreft fijner in de hand liggen dan de hele dunne kunststof exemplaren. Geven een fijne klank die per plectrum vanwege de verschillende houtsoorten net weer even anders is. Aanrader!
