General

The Dean Markley ProMag XM sound hole pickup is modelled after the popular SC-1 ProMag Plus, yet it has a female jack connector instead of a male jack. The jack connector can be hung from the strap button of your guitar, after which you can connect a standard (male-male jack) guitar cable to it. This pickup allows you to easily disconnect your guitar from a mixer or amplifier, without unhooking the sound hole pickup. Naturally, the XM produces the same pleasant tones as the popular Plus.

De Dean Markley Promag XM is een makkelijk te installeren single coil pickup met een geweldige klank.
Aanvankelijk was ik van plan een Fishman Neo D te kopen, maar na wat opzoekwerk over de Dean Markley, toch beslist deze een kans te geven en ben er eigenlijk heel blij mee. En voor de prijs moest ik het zeker niet laten.

Doet het perfect, meerdere malen gebruikt op grote podia zodat ik geen andere akkoestische gitaar hoefde te kopen. Zeker een aanrader!

Werkt helaas niet.

Ik heb de eerste retour gestuurd ivm geen geluid, hierna kreeg ik een enorm krakende. Waarschijnlijk een fabrieksfout in de female jack.
