DiMarzio DP159 FBK Evolution element

General

The FBK Evolution is the result of two years of research to create the perfect sound for an extremely discerning guitarist: Steve Vai. These pickups are also found in the guitar virtuoso's signature guitar. The humbucker is made for maximum impact. The pickup sounds tight, aggressive and sends out loud. This element doesn't sound neat, but with the right technique, you can get a lot out of it.

Studio

Originally, DiMarzio's Evolution was designed with live performances in mind. The presence and definition these elements have in them also make them good pickups for in the studio. No matter how dense and full the mix, with a DiMarzio DP159 FBK in your guitar, you will cut through everything.
