This is the Seymour Duncan Pegasus Sentient 7-String Humbucker Pickup Set Black (supplied per 2 pieces). These are 2 passive high double-coil pickups, intended for 7-string electric guitars with a humbucker in the bridge as well as in the neck. This element set is mainly designed to play modern metal genres and related progressive styles. Although these guitar pickups were originally developed for guitars with a longer scale and/or lower tuning, both alnico 5 humbuckers are also excellent to place in a standard tuned solidbody with a regular scale length. From harmonically rich, yet tight bridge sounds where your chord sounds pleasantly blossom to vintage warm neck sounds with plenty of tightness and dynamics are all within reach. This applies to both distorted and clean guitar sounds, by the way. To combat unwanted feedback, both elements have undergone a vacuum wash treatment. The 4-core cables also allow you to coil-split both humbuckers for single-coil guitar sounds.
