General
Experienced guitarists use slides for producing a unique, warm sound. Glass slides in particular are worn on the ring finger, so the guitarist can slide it along the strings to get a distinct sound.
The Dunlop 218 is practically identical to the 215, as both have an interior diameter of 20 mm and an exterior diameter of 29 mm. The difference is that the 218 is 51 mm long and the glass is 4.5 mm thick.

This slide is perfect for small-ish fingers in terms of both its length, internal diameter and weight. The wall thickness gives a great thick warm tone on electric guitar, and for me this slide beats
a Blues Bottle or Derek Trucks type slide hands down! Bax were so helpful in allowing me to replace my original purchase of a Blues Bottle with this, so a million thanks Bax!

Prettige slide met een fraaie, wat warmere sound dan een metalen slide. Het glas is dik genoeg om stevig te zijn, maar laat de slide niet van enige hoogte vallen, want dan breekt het glas dus wel.

Ik speel het met mijn ringvinger waardoor de lengte perfect is. Door de dikte van het glas voelt het ook zeer veilig aan. Daardoor met weinig druk op de snaren geeft het een helderder geluid.
