Thanks to its fine metallic particles, the lacquer is more subtle than a traditional silver sparkle finish. The spray can format makes professional painting achievable, even without expensive equipment. Ideal for base coats under semi-transparent colours, or for building up Candy Apple Red correctly. A white base coat is recommended, as is a gloss top coat for protection and depth. One 400ml can is usually sufficient for an electric guitar body. Application is simple: spray evenly, in thin layers, onto a primed, sanded surface and allow sufficient drying time. This way, you’ll give your instrument not only colour, but also character.
