General

Hand-crafted in Napels, Italy, this stunning tongue drum is tuned in D minor for use in sound and music therapy. The nine 'tongues' are tuned as follows: D, G, A, Bb, C, D, F, G and A. When it comes to sound, SWD's series of tongue drums actually come with the tone expected of a handpan with beautifully calm, warm and soothing resonance. This 18"-diameter model weighs 4.5 kg and measures 18 cm in height and, by placing it in your lap or on a flat surface, you can either play it by hand or with a set of soft-rubber mallets to enjoy the inner peace this instrument can offer.
