General

The THH1BK Hi-hat Tambourine features a 5-inch steel frame that is fitted with a rubber coating. This coating allows for a more subtle stick sound when you strike the frame for accents, which means you'll mostly hear the jingles jingling, instead of the sound of your drum stick hitting the frame. Meinl chose to use 6 pairs of nickel-plated steel jingles, resulting in a relatively short, bright sound with an excellent volume range. Thanks to the 3/8-inch eye-bolt clamp, the tambourine can easily be attached to any hi-hat pull rod.
