Meinl made this headless tambourine's red frame out of high-quality plastic and fitted one side of it with a guiro-style playing surface. Its fourteen pairs of steel jingles give it a high-pitched sound with excellent projection. With its bright, open sound, the TMT2R cuts through the mix perfectly, even in louder styles of music. It's a great addition to any drumming or percussion setup.
