The VOX amPlug 2 Clean gives you three different sounds that are directly in line with each other—pure clean, twin clean and boutique OD. It's ideal for guitarists who want full-spectrum sound with plenty of nuance for genres like shoegaze, blues and modern country. What's more, this second-generation amPlug is an ultra-handy headphone guitar amp with nine built-in effects that are divided into three groups,: chorus, delay and reverb.

This amPlug series is powered by two AAA batteries that can last up to 17 hours so you can play guitar wherever you are without bothering anyone around you. Because the mono jack plug on the VOX headphone amp can rotate 180 degrees, the amPlug will fit on any guitar. If you want to play along with your favourite music or backing track, you can use the aux input to connect your smartphone, tablet or MP3 player.

Takes a few minutes with the instructions to explain the options available with the 2 buttons and reading other reviews it sounds like people didn't bothere to do this and found the sounds limited. When you know how it works it's easy to dial in a lot of useful sounds for practicing with headphones. I really like the aux input to play along to backing tracks on my phone.

Prima alternatief als je geen versterker bij de hand hebt of als je je omgeving niet wilt storen. De geluidskwaliteit vind ik verrassend goed, ik gebruik een standaard Sennheiser hoofdtelefoon hiervoor, prima ding maar niets bijzonders. De effecten zijn 'ok' maar voor mij minder belangrijk. Een echt pluspunt vind ik dat je je telefoon (of andere geluidsdrager) erop kunt aansluiten met een standaard 3.5 mm jack. Zo kun je meespelen met je backingtracks, drumapps, etc.
De bouwkwaliteit straalt niet bepaald die van een Boss-pedaal uit, daar moet je dus rekening mee houden.
Maar all in all, prima ding!

Très bon petit ampli casque au son clean bien défini. Malgré son nom, il est également à l'aise en soin crunch en jouant avec les modes. Il ne lui manque qu'une conection bluetooth pour être parfait.

Vind het idee ervan leuk maar het is echt een goedkoop plastic dingetje. Vond het geluid wat eruit komt ook niet top en ben er eigenlijk niet tevreden over. Heb m ook terug gestuurd met de super service van Bax.

Geluid is erg goed, geen brom of andere storende bijgeluiden.
Tot zover het goede nieuws..
Bouwkwaliteit is zoals wel vaker is genoemd zeer fragiel. Dit geldt voor zowel de bevestiging van de plug als voor de draaiwieltjes, doet er goedkoop aan. Even onoplettend geweest bij gitaarspelen op de bank is plug afgebroken, was weinig kracht voor nodig. Nog geprobeerd om de boel te solderen, vanwege de "nano" dunne draadjes vergeefs.
Plug ligt nu in de prullenbak.

Mooi geluid maar de bouwkwaliteit is niet echt van een hoogstaand niveau, voornamelijk de draaiknoppen voelen heel fragiel aan. De reverb is zo overdreven dat deze eigenlijk niet bruikbaar is.

Ik zocht een plugin versterker om onderweg of thuis met koptelefoon te kunnen spelen voor mijn akoestische nylonsnarige gitaar met piezo element. Kwam op deze kleine versterker uit. Het geluid is zoals het type aangeeft mooi clean. Er zitten 3 standen op die ik zou omschrijven als : clean, bluesy, en overdrive. De eerste twee zijn voor een akoestische gitaar zeker bruikbaar . De ingebouwde effecten chorus, echo en zware galm hadden van mij subtieler gemogen. De jack plug is draaibaar waardoor praktisch bij opbergen. Al met al een handig apparaatje die ik n deze prijsklasse van andere merken i nog ben tegengekomen.

Hartstikke handig. Maakt gitaarspelen mogelijk van huiskamer tot camping. Sound is verbluffend goed.
