General

These wireless headphones are ideal for those who are looking for headphones to watch films and play video games with. Prepare to be amazed, the 9.1-channel Virtual Surround Sound will make gaming or watching films even more exciting!

Sony MDRHW700DS 9.1 Virtual Surround Sound wireless headphones

If you wear headphones when gaming or watching films for a longer period of time, it's important that they are comfortable. That is why these wireless headphones by Sony have soft, over-ear pads and an adjustable headband to provide the perfect fit. 50 mm drivers ensure a crystal-clear and detailed sound reproduction, and with a sensitivity of 103 dB and a huge frequency range of 5 to 25,000 Hz, the sound is bright and distortion-free no matter the volume. The balance between low, mid, and high frequencies is optimised to suit any situation, thanks to the three presets: Cinema, Game or Voice. The ear pads feature several controls to adjust the volume, for instance.

9.1 Virtual Surround Sound

These headphones feature 9.1 Virtual Surround Sound, which will give you a real-life experience while watching a thrilling film, and will make you experience your games like never before. Maybe this time you'll hear that annoying zombie just in time before it eats you!

Receiver

In order to keep the ear pads small and comfortable, Sony opted for a separate receiver that contains all the electronics that wouldn't fit in the ear pads. This receiver is 22 cm wide, 15.7 cm deep, 3.2 cm high, and transmits a 2.4 or 5GHz dual-band wireless signal to your headphones. The receiver also features an HDMI output, and more importantly; three HDMI inputs and one optical input to connect a television, DVD player, Playstation or X-Box, for example.
