General
For the MA-8120 matrix amplifier, DAP has also created a broadcast microphone, namely the MA-8120PM (PM stands for Paging Microphone). This microphone is attached via a gooseneck to a pedestal with a control panel. With an Ethernet cable, you can connect the microphone to the RJ45 input on the back of the amplifier. Using the buttons on the microphone, you can select the desired zone in which you want to broadcast. First choose your zone and then press the "push to talk" button. As long as you hold it down, you can continue talking into the microphone. There is also a button to sound a chime or announcement tone.
