General

Electro-Voice's EVID C4.2 is a set of two 4-inch 2-way coaxial ceiling speakers from Electro-Voice. Full-bandwidth overload protection protects the network, woofer and tweeter drivers from overload. The EVID C4.2's transformer offers a choice of 1.88 W (via 70V only), 3.75, 7.5, 15 and 30 watts via 70 or 100 V lines, or 8 ohm bypass, easily switched via a rotary knob. The EVID C4.2 has a titanium-coated tweeter and uses a second-order crossover network with a frequency of 3.3 kHz. Hardware is included for secure suspension to various suspended ceilings. The EVID ceiling speakers work together as a complete system and are easy to install.
