General

The EVID C8.2D is a ceiling speaker set from Electro-Voice, ideal for use in office buildings, shops, restaurants and other locations (not suitable for outdoor use). The two speakers are easy to install and hardware is included for suspension in suspended ceilings. This model has an 8-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter and uses a second-order crossover to split the high frequencies from the low ones. You have a choice of 3.75, 7.5, 15 and 30 watts via 70 or 100-volt lines, or 1.88 watts via the 70-volt line and 8-ohm bypass. The speakers are overload protected across the entire bandwidth.
