General
Arturia's attractively-priced V-Collection 6 includes new virtual synthesizers and gives you an eye-watering selection of classics that would simply be unaffordable if you were to buy each of the real versions. This virtual software comes at an excellent price, however, and includes models like the CS80, Jupiter 8, the Synclavier, the Minimoog and many more synths of this calibre.
New in Arturia V-Collection 6
New additions include the Buchla Easel which used vintage technology to make out-of-this-world sounds. Then there's the DX7, a digital synth released by Yamaha in the 1980s that almost led to the complete demise of analogue synthesizers. The DX7V has extra waveforms, a second LFO and many other new features. The Fairlight CMI sampler and additive synth is another vintage model just waiting for you to try it out. There's a Clavinet too, the sound of which you'll recognise from countless disco and R&B hits.
Not Just Synths...
While models like the JP8, Minimoog and CS80 are sure to capture the imagination of analogue synth fans and those who prefer digital models will love the vintage DX7 and CMI, this software also includes pianos, electric pianos, the legendary Solina string machine and three vintage organs. Some of the existing V-Collection models have been tweaked visually and in terms of functionality making Arturia's V-Collection 6 an excellent choice for anyone who wants to have a great collection of virtual synthesizers, and more, in their sound palette.
