This particular model in the 8th generation of Apple's iPod Touch features a classy gold-coloured finish and 32 GB of storage. It's seen quite a few improvements since the previous generation. There's the powerful A8 chip, for instance, which is up to ten times better than the previous generation's chip. The iSight camera, and FaceTime HD camera as well, have been upgraded. Furthermore, these iPods come with iOS 8 preloaded, but are completely ready for iOS 9. Besides this gold-coloured version, the iPod Touch is also available in four other colours: blue, pink, silver and Space Grey.

The iPod Touch now has an 8MP iSight camera on the back, and an improved FaceTime HD camera on the back. The new iSight camera allows you to take beautiful pictures and record crystal-clear video, and it has a few new features. For instance, it now allows you to record 720p video at 120 frames per second, and it has burst, time-lapse video and high-resolution panorama modes. The FaceTime HD camera is also quite a bit smarter than before, as it keeps an eye on sharpness and brightness, and will even notice if someone has their eyes closed. It will also select the shots it thinks you'd like best from the Burst mode.

New Generation of Apple iPod Touch devices

Recently, Apple announced the latest generation of their iPod Touch, and we already have them available for you to buy! The iPod 8 is the eighth generation iPod that Apple has released since the first model back in 2001. Of course, throughout the years, Apple has kept on innovating. Last year, iOS got a major overhaul that was well received by a majority of the public. Some people did find that their iPods became a bit slower after the update to iOS 8, but Apple has already taken care of that. What's more, these new iPods have already been prepped for the impending release of iOS 9! The new iPod Touch is available in five colours: blue, pink, silver, gold and Space Grey with either 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of storage space.
