The Neutrik NYS227 6.3 mm jack female – 3.5 mm jack male adaptor is a reducing piece going from 6.3 mm jack female to 3.5 mm jack male. Amongst other things, it can be used as a headphone adaptor. If you want to connect 6.3 mm jack plug head phones to your laptop our mobile phone, you can do this with a 3.5 mm male jack plug.

Verbinding niet stabiel, regelmatig verlies van geluid op links of rechts bij beweging. Constructie maakt 3.5 ingang gevoelig voor beschadiging. Heb een andere adapter gekocht met draadje die dit laatste probleem weghaalt. Kan dit product niet aanbevelen.

Stevig, komt niet zomaar los dus goeie bouwkwaliteit. Ik merk geen verschil qua signaalkwaliteit met deze adapter ertussen, en ze hebben mij al vaak uit de nood geholpen dus ik heb er gewoon altijd enkele bij.

Geeft het geluid prima door, maar wel wat speling aan de kant van de hoofdtelefoon, dus gevoelig voor 'beweging': zodra de plug van de hoofdtelefoon een klein stukje draait in de adapter (bijvoorbeeld doordat je je verplaatst), kan het geluid in één oor wegvallen en/of gaan kraken. Je moet bij het aansluiten dus ook wat draaien in de plug voordat het geluid goed doorkomt.
