The Rode SC7 is a high-quality, compact cable that allows you to use your Rode VideoMic GO in combination with TRRS-compatible devices like the iPhone or iPad. It is identical to the standard-delivery TRS to TRS cable, apart from the connector. The grey connector is a 3.5mm TRRS mini jack, which you will mainly find on iOS and (most) Android devices.
The Rode Rec App for iOS
Rode have developed an app specifically for iOS devices, to allow for easy and quick recording. You can, of course, also use it for other recording applications. Create wonderful recordings anywhere with your Rode VideoMic GO and mobile device, thanks to the practical Rode SC7 adapter cable.

Regelmatig doe ik opnames van lessen en geef ik webinars via Zoom.
Daarom kocht ik de Rode wireless go" microfoon.
Na aankoop bleek dat de meegeleverde kabel (zwart naar zwart) enkel werkt op oude computers.
Met deze SC7 verloopkabel (zwart naar grijs) herkende mijn nieuwe iMac meteen de Rode" microfoon!
Alles werkt nu prima.

Werkt goed om live ondertiteling op mijn smartphone of iPad te krijgen vanaf de televisie met behulp van Ava app. Werkt echter niet op laptop voor bijvoorbeeld real-time ondertitelen van Youtube filmpjes of Skype gesprekken.
