General

The smart, thoughtful and reliable NP2XX-SILENT jack plug features the professional performance of gold-plated contacts and a pull-relief design, but next to that, this two-pin mono plug features a protective silent switch system, meaning that you can even plug in and unplug your guitar without having to hit the standby switch of your amplifier. The plug first makes contact with the grounding wire, meaning that when you plug it into a live amplifier, you don't get any crackling or popping, protecting both your amplifier and your speakers. This model is compatible with cabling with a 7mm diameter.
