General
The Gator GK-88 SLIM is a soft case suitable for virtually any 88-note keyboard. It has a durable nylon construction with padding to protect your keyboard and there are adjustable straps on the inside to hold your instrument firmly in place. The case is equipped with wheels and an extra handle for easy transportation or you can simply carry it using the two robust handles on top. This SLIM version of the case is slightly narrower than the standard GK-88.
Space for accessories
Naturally, you'll want to take some accessories with you too which is why the GK-88 SLIM case has a special compartment on the front. Inside the compartment you'll find a few different sections to help you keep everything neat and well organised. Once you've filled it, you can zip everything up and be on your way.

Reasonable case - useful handle about a 1/3 down on the back of the case not shown in picture - helps in lifting it up to wheel it. That may be because the pictured case also shows it filled with a keyboard that is clearly not 8 octaves, so perhaps the handle is only on the full 8ve case. No worse to steer than a supermarket trolley on an average day! Adequate pocket space for (slightly chunkier kawai) sustain pedal and power lead. Kawai ES8 fits well and its own music stand helpfully fits (just) in the pocket also. I trust the zip will last - would have given it 5 stars if the zip had responded to my usual 90 mph requirements - however, appears to work fine at comparative '40mph'

Zeer blij met deze koffer!
Voor een jongedame als mezelf is het niet altijd gemakkelijk om een keyboard van meer dan 20 kilo rond te dragen. Om deze reden zocht ik een stevige hoes die wieltjes had. Dit was de goedkoopste die ik kon vinden, maar dat valt aan de kwaliteit niet te merken!
De koffer voelt heel robuust en stevig aan, maar geeft ook niet te veel extra gewicht (een beetje extra valt natuurlijk te verwachten). Zoals hier al eerder aangehaald kan je hem rechtop laten staan en de wieltjes rollen zeer vlotjes. Ik heb gelukkig mijn keyboard nog niet laten vallen, maar de binnenkant lijkt zeker wat schokken te kunnen opvangen. Plakkers zorgen ervoor dat je piano mooi op zijn plaats blijft zitten. Leuke plus zijn de compartimenten waar je al je kabels en kleiner materiaal in kwijt kan.

Ik heb weinig referentiemateriaal wat pianokoffers betreft, maar deze bevalt me erg goed. Van buiten stevig, van binnen een dikke, zachte voering . Handige zijvakjes voor snoeren, een boek of bladmuziek, wat kleine accessoires. Ziet er mooi uit en voelt solide aan, handvat is ook prettig. 't Is geen lichtgewicht en veel stagepiano's wegen al aardig wat, dus erg fijn dat er wieltjes onder zitten (wat mij betreft absoluut een must!). De koffer blijft uit zichzelf ook rechtop staan, al is dit nooit helemaal risicoloos... maar hij valt in ieder geval niet zomaar om. Hier durf ik met een gerust hart mijn piano in te vervoeren!

Per vergissing had ik deze softbag: "Gator Cases GK-88 SLIM koffer voor 88-toetsen keyboard smal" bestelt en was de softbag net iets te klein voor mijn instrument. Maar ik heb heel makkelijk het pakket kunnen retourneren, gelijk een mail terug gehad de volgende dag en ik verwacht deze week de softbag van het zelfde merk met iets grotere afmetingen te ontvangen.
De softbag zelf zal van het zelfde merk zijn en daar ben ik heel enthousiast over. Want van wat ik heb kunnen zien van het materiaal zag alles er tip top in orde uit. Kwalitatief in verhouding met de prijs heel goed!
Heel veel opberg mogelijkheid in het voorvakje, voor je pedals, verlengstukjes (bijvoorbeeld van mp3 naar jack). Ontzettend veel vakjes, heel efficient verwerkt.
De wieltjes rolden verder heel soepel, stevig materiaal, handig te vervoeren.
Verdere eenis de communicatie heel goed bij bax-shop.nl! Top!
