General
The Casio LK-136 opens up an option-packed world of experimentation. You can play at being a DJ in Dance Music mode and then nail your first chord progressions and melodies with the solid guidance of built-in lessons and 61 light-up keys. By literally following the lit notes, you're able to learn any or even all of the 100 songs this keyboard comes loaded with. Naturally, all of this is supported by the mass of functions you would expect of a great keyboard: a huge bank of different sounds and automatic accompaniments in a seemingly endless range of styles.
From Classical to Dance
Pretty much any sound you might think of has been put at your fingertips, including pianos, organs, guitars, orchestral instruments, synthesizers, drums, and even more unusual instruments like a sitar. The provided accompaniments offer support for playing styles like pop, rock, jazz, folk music, classical and more, but since this is made for the modern key-player, you also get the pick of 50 dance rhythms when you flip into Dance Mode, where you can shape hair-raising 'build-ups', making you feel like a real DJ.
Lesson Mode
The 100 built-in songs are great to listen to, but are designed to offer comprehensive learning material. In a game-style way of learning, the light-up keys of the Casio LK-136 guide you through each melody and at your own pace. Once you reach the next level, you stop following the lit keys and instead follow the display. Learning to read music alongside learning the correct fingering has been laid side by side in a study technique that's actually fun. And, if you prefer to practice in private silence, simply plug in a set of headphones, and the built-in speakers will be automatically muted.
