General
Condenser microphones are the ideal choice for recording vocal and acoustic instruments. It is the favourite type of microphone for recording studios and radio stations as it can pick up on a lot more detail than a dynamic microphone. This is made possible by the wider, flatter frequency response of the microphone. Another difference between a condenser and dynamic microphone is that they contain other circuits that require phantom power (+48 Volt DC) to work. You can power them with every mixer with access to a phantom power supply.
The C-1 is an affordable high quality studio microphone. Thanks to the cardioid pattern, the C-1 will pick up your source signal, while it does not pick up off-axis sounds that might ruin your recording. The excellent transducer and gilded XLR-output make the C-1 sound very neutral and a noise-free transmission is assured.
The C-1 is made to last a very long time. This can be seen in the solid die-cast casing that can take a lot. Thanks to its foam lined carrying case, you can transport the C-1 stylishly and safely. A rotatable stand mount that can be fastened to your studio microphone stands is also included with this microphone.

Good little mic at about the right amount of money for my needs. Arrived promptly etc etc so all good there. I've only messed about with it for a short while so far and I am no expert by any means but I'm quite happy with it for 30 odd quid.
(Why only 4 stars then? well, in all the pictures the mic is a nice, tasteful silver colour but my one is a weird sort of brown. Still a good mic of course but a teeny bit annoying. I can't find anywhere to specify the colour on the site and I cant be bothered to complain so I'll have to live with it.
By the way, take my advice and buy a cable with the mic from Bax. Don't get a separate one from Mapl... a high street retailer and pay three times the price for it like I did)

Enkele jaren geleden heb ik 2 van deze condensatormicrofoon gekocht. Ik heb er al van alles mee gedaan, podcasts, livestreams, soundscapes en onlangs gebruikt als studiomicrofoon. Werken perfect en nemen soms zelfs iets te veel op (zoals de vogel van de buren :P)

Allerbelabbertste microfoon ooit in bezit gehad.
Ruist de pan uit en kwaliteit blijft ver achter.
Heb ook de Behringer C2 en die klinkt als een klokje zonder enige ruis.
Deze microfoon weer snel retour Bax gestuurd en omgeruild voor een Marantz MPM-1000
Hopen dat deze beter is.

Prima microfoon!
Heb hem nu een half jaar en ben er tevreden mee. Geluid lijkt in het begin zacht maar dat is opgelost als u in de instellingen het volume van de microfoon hoger zet.

Ik heb de Behringer C1 gekocht samen met de Behringer XENYX X1622USB mengpaneel en en Procab microfoon kabel 3m de microfoon klinkt prima voor de prijs aleen je moet geen studio kwaliteit verwachten
TIP je kan beter meteen en broadcasting er bij kopen dan klinkt ie al stukken beter

de microfoon pakt echt alles op. als er bij de buren een vork op de grond valt is het hiermee te horen. verder geeft de microfoon een bijhoorlijke ruis wanneer deze is aangesloten op mijn Behringer q802USB. heb hierop ook een andere mic getest. die geeft wel minder ruis maar de ruis is wel degelijk aanwezig. verder klinkt te microfoon echt heel erg hol. ben nog niet tevreden over mijn aankoop

Mic gekocht vanwege de lage prijs, want dit is toch wel erg goedkoop.
Persoonlijk vind ik de mic wat agressief in het hoog, doch wat me het meest stoort is de eigen ruis die de microfoon heeft.
als ik deze C-1 vergelijk met andere budget micro's (zijn wel 2x zo duur) zoals de Samsom CL7 en MTR101, dan is de C-1 ruis voor mijn gehoor zo'n 6dB meer. Ik gebruik de C-1 niet voor opnames, maar als mic om snel iets te kunnen uit testen. Ik ga in elk geval geen 2e kopen.
