The TCD Diamond Scan is a unique effect with four diamond-shaped mirrors that are each placed above a bright 10-watt RGBW LED module. Because the mirrors are placed at an angle on the axis of the rotating motors, the beams of light cango every which way, resulting in a spectacular light show. Because you have complete control over the speed of the mirrors (in automatic and DMX mode), the Diamond Scan can move as fast or as slow as you want it to. It's ideal for creating a fun light effect at a wedding or a theme party, for instance.
TDC Diamond Scan features
The step motors with zero-point sensors ensure that the TDC Diamond Scan's motors always go back to the same start position when turned on or after a blackout. This will make your life a lot easier if you're making complex light shows via DMX, plus you'll have complete control over the colours of each LED chip, mirror rotation (and direction), stroboscope function, and so forth. Furthermore, in DMX mode you'll be able to control mirror movement and effect macros, making programming a piece of cake. Even without DMX, the TDC Diamond Scan will provide an impressive show in either the music-controlled or automatic working mode, in which you can even adjust the speed!
Use and installation
The robust metal housing of the TDC Diamond Scan makes it ultra durable. Because the mirrors are on the inside, they remain well-protected during transport. The Diamond Scan uses convection cooling instead of fans, which means it's quiet as a mouse when in use. It has a practical mounting bracket which makes it easy to suspend on a light stand or bridge. Plus, you can link any number of these units using power or DMX, which offers even more possibilities.

Beginnen bij wat voor mij het enige nadeel is van dit lichteffect. Als je het echt helemaal tot zijn recht wil laten komen heb je een hazer/fazer nodig zodat je de stralen mooi kan zien.
Verder geeft het echter wel een leuke afwisseling op de scanners en parren die hij tot nu toe had, maar het blijven draaiende stippen op de muur en grond.
Je kan het toestel zelf laten draaien, via DMX-besturen of enkel sound-activated laten werken zoals de meeste AYRA effecten en dat is nu net zo mooi weer.
Alles is aangesloten op zijn DMX-sturing en de rest wijst zichzelf uit.
Al bij al een geslaagde aankoop dus.
