The Infinity iS-100 is a worthy part of the Infinity series. All moving heads from this series are provided with LED technology and the iS-100 is no different! This powerful moving head is provided with a 100W light source. The light of this lamp travels through two gobo wheels and a colour wheel. A 3-faceted prism is also equipped and it allows for wonderful fan effects.
Infinity iS-100: serious moving head
Fast movements are a requirement for a modern lighting show, which is why the Infinity iS-100 is provided with motors with a high torque value. The motions are controlled with a 16-bit resolution. To ensure precise movements, the pan and tilt range can be decreased. The light of the 100W LED lamp travels through two gobo wheels: the first contains 7 rotating gobos (2 of which are made of glass), the second contains 8 metal gobos. There is also a colour wheel that contains 8 colours plus white. You can also split colours with this colour wheel.
Operating the iS-100
As we might expect of a modern moving head, this lamp is equipped with multiple modes: a DMX mode, music-controlled mode (master/slave) and a stand-alone mode (in which the iS-100 runs through a number of pre-programmed chases) are provided. The presence of a multicolour display ensures that setting this moving head up is a quick and easy thing to do.
