General
The Infinity iW-720 is almost identical to its brother iW-715. The main difference is that the iW-720 can infinitely adjust the beam angle from 7 to 50 degrees. This makes this moving head fit for beam as well as wash applications. The iW-720 has seven RGBW LEDs of 20 watts, reaching a light yield of 31,300 lux at 2 metres. All in all, this is a highly versatile lamp that does its job properly!
Infinity iW-720: versatile moving head
In order to allow for the fast motions that are required for a modern moving head, the iW-720 is equipped with a powerful motor set. The pan and tilt range can be decreased for a higher resolution and thus lets you work in great detail. The movements are executed in a 16-bit resolution. Thanks to seven powerful RGBW LEDs, the iW-720 can project nearly any possible colour. The LEDs are fully dimmable and can also be used for a strobe effect. This effect's speed can be adjusted between 0 to 20 Hz.
Operating the iW-720
As we might expect of a modern moving head, this lamp is equipped with multiple modes: a DMX mode, music-controlled mode (master/slave) and a stand-alone mode (in which the iW-720 runs through a number of pre-programmed chases) are provided. The presence of a multicolour display ensures that setting this moving head up is a quick and easy thing to do.
