The Octostrip MKII by Showtec is the successor to the popular Octostrip. It's completely plug-and-play and each of the eight individual RGB LED sections can be operated separately. This also goes for the corresponding dim and strobe functions. Furthermore, the included controller supports the Art-Net communication protocol for the DMX512-A lighting management system (RGB, 192 channels). The colour settings have also been improved for both horizontal and vertical usage. In terms of design, the MKII is virtually identical to its predecessor, with the exception of the automatic mode.
