General
The BT-Gigaflash by Briteq is a powerful LED stroboscope with pixel strobe effects and 1,260 strobe LEDs and an enormous light yield of 100,000 lumen. It also features a long-lasting blinder function and an automatic fade function. The internal pixel-strobe effects are impressive and do not need to be programmed separately. Operate the Gigaflash via DMX with seven channel modes for strobe effects and three for pixel mode.

The Gigaflash is equipped with an LCD display that offers simple navigation and easy installation. Furthermore, the visual result is enhanced by a barn door with a reflector, which incidentally also functions as protection during transport. The Gigaflash can also serve as a wash projector with a lower light yield to light up a stage for setting up before a performance, for instance. The bright white light (4500 k) produced by the BT-Gigaflash is flicker-free (2000 Hz), making it suitable for us on television, and it boasts an LED refresh rate.
Cool, powerful and ready for anything
The robust, aluminium housing with hardened glass to protect the LEDs makes the Gigaflash a great investment for rental companies. What's more, the corresponding mounting brackets with omega clamps (sold separately) allow you to position the fixture as optimally as possible. In the case of a DMX malfunction, you can activate the black-out mode to freeze certain functions. It also features a locking mechanism to protect unwanted changes in your settings. last but not least, connect the Gigaflash by means of a 3 and 5-pin XLR power input and outputs.

Wrote the following about Briteq BT-Gigaflash LED stroboscope with pixel control
Ik was op zoek naar een stroboscoop die voldoende output had, met de voorkeur voor LED in verband met het stroomverbruik. de Gigaflash van Briteq leek daarbij de beste keuze. Helaas is er op internet geen review te vinden over deze stroboscoop en de aanschaf toch maar op de gok gedaan.
Het aansluiten van de stroboscoop is simpel met de bijgeleverde powercon en dmx kabel. Goed om te zien dat er een doorlus op zit voor zowel powercon als 3- en 5 polige DMX. Het apparaat zelf is zwaar, en degelijk. De uitklapbare spiegels zorgen ervoor dat het apparaat goed beschermt is en het zorgt voor een optische vergroting van het effect, wat een absoluut pluspunt is!
Na het aansluiten direct even getest. Ik was enorm verrast door de lichtopbrengst, wat een power met die LED's! De vele macro's in het apparaat zorgen er voor dat je zonder al te veel programmeerwerk toch een mooie show neer kunt zetten. Qua lichtopbrengst absoluut een verbetering ten opzichte van de Ayra's (wat op zich ook wel mag, gezien het prijsverschil).
Al met al een prachtige stroboscoop, met veel functies. Door de pixelcontrole net wat uitgebreider dan een standaard stroboscoop. Extra handigheidje: als werklamp te gebruiken bij full-on.
Met een stroomverbruik van slechts 900 watt ook zeer ideaal als toevoeging bij menig drive-in show.
Negatieve punten heb ik tot zover nog niet kunnen ontdekken.
