General

Faithfully embodying the early years of Fender, the American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster serves up the pure and honest, vintage sound and feel of a model more-than sixty years its senior. Every last inch of this electric guitar is period-accurate to result in a time-capsule of an instrument that bears the sweet essence of what first made the Strat so loved. The left-handed edition of the Fender American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster comes wrapped up in a vintage-style tweed case complete with a crushed red interior.

The Fender American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster: Mega-Detailed

The foundation of this '57 Strat is formed by solid alder body dipped in high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer that doesn't just give the wood room to breathe and naturally mature (so the sound only gets better as it gets older), but actually wears and crackles with age. The comfy V-profile of the one-piece maple neck has also been coated in a nitro-varnish and combines with a classic 7.25 inch fretboard radius and a set of Vintage Tall frets to lay down properly authentic playing feel.

Unmistakable Fender Sound

A dream team of three Pure vintage '57 Stratocaster single-coils delivers broad-range, character-packed Strat-style sound courtesy of a vintage coil construction with a formvar magnet and genuine fabric wiring - a setup that effortlessly frames lush and sparkling trebles in cosy and warm basses. Smooth vibrato tricks are guaranteed by the then-revolutionary synchronised tremolo bridge, which also comes loaded with an authentic set of bent steel saddles, completing a mouth-watering retro-focussed Strat fit for the die-hard connoisseur.
