Mixing up hyper-modern playability with timeless Fender charm, the next-gen Fender Player II Telecaster comes loaded with some sweet upgrades, including rolled fretboard edges, where the maple fretboard has been rounded off on both sides, giving the Modern-C profiled neck an immediately comfy and played-in feel in the fret-hand. Add on the satin-gloss finish that coats the back of the neck and you're getting smooth and buttery playability all the way from the nut to the body. This is the left-handed edition.
The Fender Player II Telecaster: Alnico 5 Sound
The solid alder body frames a pair of exclusive, newly-developed Fender Player Series Alnico 5 Tele Single-Coil pickups that guarantee fierce and twanging trebles, a musical and lush mid-range and tight basses. This tonal flexibility fully equips this Tele to take on everything, whether it's indie, country or even punk. No matter what you're spitting, tuning stability is assured by a full pack of Fender ClassicGear machine heads and a fixed string-through-body bridge with six fully adjustable steel block saddles, which also boost the sustain and support excellent intonation. In short, the Player II edition of the Telecaster manages to set a whole new standard.
