General

The Guild M-120LH is a compact, left-handed guitar with a concert body and a fiercely tight and direct sound. While the resonance chamber of the M-120LH isn't all that big, here, both the body and top are made of mahogany to offset the guitar's humble size with full and warm sound. Made of rosewood, the fretboard only adds to rich tonality of this Westerly Collection model, and the 16" flat fretboard radius offers comfortable playability.

Some of the specifications of Guild's Westerly Collection models match those of classical guitars. In case of the M-120LH, that means a high-gloss finished neck with a comfortable C-profile and a 44.5mm string nut, making the guitar perfect for strummers and finger-pickers alike.

The Guild Westerly Collection

Guild have been building high-quality instruments since 1953, and their acoustic guitars hark back to earlier, vintage models. Each of the steel-string guitars in their Westerly series feature solid woods and are equipped with a number of tasteful, luxurious details. What's more, the headstock is adorned with the traditional pearloid inlay Guild emblem and all of the guitars feature a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard.

Wrote the following about Guild M-120LH Left-Handed Acoustic Guitar

Une belle petite guitare très légère et bien finie, j’ai juste abaissé les sillets de tête et de chevalet réglés trop hauts. Le manche est confortable grâce au diapason court qui permet de diminuer la tension des cordes. Le son est très correct pour une petite caisse avec un sustain impressionnant du tout acajou qui se prête bien au picking en accord ouvert en G ou en Dm. L’expédition a été très rapide et bien emballé avec une housse sur mesure légère et rembourrée.
