American DJ's Starburst is a six-in-one RGBWYP LED beam effect that consists of a base with a rotating ball on top that projects sharp LED light beams into the room in red, green, blue, white, yellow, and purple. The Starburst's light source is made up of five 15-watt HEX LEDs. American DJ fitted the Starburst with the latest in LED technology, allowing you to wow your audience with a plethora of colours and effects like you never have before.
Creativity
American DJ's Starburst allows for great creative freedom. Its extensive colour palette with 34 crisp LED beams lets you access a virtually endless number of colour combinations. This LED light effect has three operational modes: auto run, DMX and sound active. You can use the Starburst as a stand-alone device or as part of a master/slave setup, chaining up to twenty units.
Applications
It's obvious that the Starburst is an extension of American DJ's successful Spherion concept The design is based on a mirror ball, but turned inside out this time. The Starburst can stand on the ground or a table, but also flown from a truss or ceiling. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Starburst is a great light effect for mobile DJ setups or other on-the-go entertainers.

Je recommande vivement
Je kan de bol op zijn voetjes plaatsen of... Als je hem wil ophangen, is er een ijzer meegeleverd waar je je trusshaakje aan kan hangen. Spijtig genoeg kan hij, na bevestiging van deze ijzeren beugel, niet meer op z'n voetjes staan. De beugel is namelijk net iets te hoog... Of de voetjes net iets te laag.
De 12 dmx-kanalen zijn heel goed in te zetten al had ik eigenlijk ook liever een simple-mode gehad met minder kanalen. Spijtig dat dat niet mogelijk is.
De audiomodus suckt big time maar dat zien we wel vaker.
Al bij al een heel goede prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding. Bax zou, in de combinaties, misschien een gepaste flightcase kunnen aanbieden?
Verbaas mij telkens weer wat voor mooie kleuren deze weergeeft.
Apparaat werkt super, en geeft een zeer mooi effect.
Een aanrader voor de mobiele DJ.

wel is de draai moter een beetje luid maar dat hoor je niet bij de muziek.
heeft 12 kanalen nodig van dmx.
super licht om aan een truss te hangen.
wel jammer dat de fader die de draairichting bediend,die gaat van snel naar langzaam draaien,had dit liever anders gezien,van traag naar snel draaien.
Ik gebruik de lamp icm lumidesk en aanmaken van de fixture was een fluitje van een cent, mede dankzij de duidelijke handleiding waarin de verschillende kanalen goed staan aangegeven.
enige nadeel is de best wel luidruchtige motor die erin zit, maar zodra de muziek aan gaat hoor je daar niets meer van
een beetje rook een echte eye catcher .
