General
The Showtec Dominator is an LED light effect as well as a laser and stroboscope. It is perfect for anyone who can't decide! The Dominator is equipped with 8 powerful white stroboscope LEDs, a 200mW RG laser module and an RGBWA LED module of 3 watts. This effects trio makes the Dominator a dominant force on the dance floor. The three effects can be operated individually as well as simultaneously via DMX, for full control over all effects. The module weighs less than 4 kg and is delivered with a suspension bracket.
Showtec Dominator: Laser
The laser effect is very popular with any kind of audience. This Dominator is equipped with a 200mW laser module, with 150 mW for red and 50 mW for green. The Class 3B laser produces very narrow, sharp light beams and has various grating and burst effects. Safety-wise, two safety keys and an interlock test-connector are included, so that you won't take any risks when fully enjoying the power of this versatile light effect.
Operating Modes
Besides the laser, a powerful stroboscope is also equipped for awesome slow-motion effects and tension-heightening moments. The RGBWA LED effect with 5x3 watts of light, is an always usable light source with an extensive colour range. You can choose from stand-alone mode, sound-controlled mode, master/slave and DMX mode. 9 DMX channels can be used for the Dominator. A LED display and various function keys give you full control over operating modes and lighting programs. Power (IEC) and data (DMX) can be daisy chained.

- De ventilator is relatief luid (vooral als er geen muziek speelt is die storend, dit is dus zeker niet te gebruiken als sfeerlicht) hij lijkt bij mij ook niet goed te starten maakt dan extra veel lawaai voor een minuutje
- De geluidsmodus is niet erg gevoelig. Zelfs op maximum sensitivity moet de muziek al echt luid staan

De prijs lijkt duur, maar eens je het in huis hebt zul je dat echt niet beklagen.
In sound-modus werkt deze perfect (sterkte regelbaar) en verschillende modie.
Ook via DMX een toffe werking, maar... je hebt er veel werk aan! 9 kanalen met elk enorm veel functies.
Kortom opzoek naar een licht-effect met veel licht en geweldige lichtshows? Probeer de dominator.
