General

The Electro Harmonix 45000 is a comprehensive multi-track looping recorder that allows musicians to get really spontaneous, recording part after part and adding new tracks. The 45000 has been modelled after the Electro Harmonix 2880. Released in 2006 as a multi-track recorder, the 2880 turned out to be exceptionally popular as a performance tool, both live and in the studio. Indeed, it allows you to create and compose music in a highly intuitive, simple way.

The legacy continues

The EHX 45000 enables you to record several tracks, and to downmix them if you run out of available tracks. The recorder is equipped with high-quality converters and delivers a CD-grade recording resolution of 16 bits/44.1 kHz without compression or any other concessions. The 45000 records to an SDHC card; a 4GB card has been included so you can get started right away. It's also possible to import WAV files and to use them as if they were new recordings. That means you can use guitar parts, drum loops, choirs or even complete orchestras as part of your compositions! Zeer uitgebreid apparaat, enorm robuust en voldoende mogelijkheden. Het enige wat ik mis is de display voor de samples waar ik tussen wil schakelen. Dit kun je wel met de footswitch doen, alleen is deze als accessoire verkrijgbaar en niet meegeleverd. Verder veel mogelijkheden voor zowel vocaal als instrumentaal om de meest creatieve stunts toe te voegen aan je repertoire. En dat allemaal in een bijna onverwoestbaar en compact doosje :)

Machine aux possibilités incroyables.

Fonction "mix down": vous fusionnez les pistes et vous récupérez des pistes vierges. Enorme.

En utilisant le contrôle midi, vous pouvez gérer, en live, des morceaux structurés (par exemple intro - couplet - refrain - pont 1 - couplet - refrain - pont 2 - outro) en mettant pour chaque partie une loop dédiée.
Et pour chacune des parties, vous avez un nombre infini de loop (et pour chaque piste de chaque partie vous avez la possibilité d'overdub). Et vous pouvez gérer le tout entièrement au pied.

Contrôle midi hyper complet. Par exemple vous pouvez gérer le pan de chaque loop via une pédale d'expression midi. ou le volume d'une piste... Possibilité hallucinantes.

J'avais lu que le foot controller du hog2 (qui est moins cher et puis surtout je l'avais déjà) permet de gérer la fonction loop + 1 ou loop -1. j'ai testé, ça ne fonctionne que partiellement: oui, vous pouvez incrémenter le numéro de la loop, mais l'affichage n'est pas absolu ( = quand vous incrémenter l'affichage change, mais la valeur initiale n'est pas nécessairement la bonne) Donc au final ce n'est pas vraiment confortable, je me perdais et j'ai fini par acheter le foot controller du 45000.

Donc au final, mon avis est: le 45000 est un looper énorme, aux possibilités qui surpassent les autres loopers. Je lui mets 5 étoiles sans hésiter.

Par contre, il n'a de sens que lorsque vous l'utilisez avec un pédalier midi ET le foot controller. Donc au final, le prix de l'ensemble est assez élevé (45000 + foot controller + pédalier midi).

Si votre budget ne vous permet pas d'acheter le tout, je conseille de vous diriger vers une autre machine.
