MD592Z/A: the MagSafe 2 connector

This adapter’s magnetic connector attaches itself to your MacBook Air; should someone tug on the cord or trip over it, the magnet will automatically release. Not only does such a feature extend the lifespan of the adapter, but it also keeps your computer safe. It also ensures that the connector attaches perfectly, so you always have a fast, reliable connection. Once the charger is plugged in, an LED indicator will turn on. An orange LED means that your battery is charging, and it will turn green when the battery is full.

A plug and a power cable

Both a power cord and a plug come with the MagSafe 2 adapter, and it’s easy to switch between the two. Thanks to the power cable, you can bridge rather wide gaps. The plug, on the other hand, is the perfect thing when you’re travelling, as the DC power cable can be nicely wound around the plug for easy storage.
